Privacy Policy
Plain-English summary of what we collect and how we handle it.
1. What we collect
From your Stripe account (read-only, once you connect): your charges and their status, customer IDs, customer email addresses tied to failed payments, and basic account details like your business name.
From you directly: the email address you provide when activating recovery, and any optional personalization you add (a short P.S. message, a support email address).
From your customers: nothing beyond what's already in your Stripe account. We don't ask them for anything except, if they click a recovery email, a new card number, entered directly into Stripe's own hosted checkout page, which we never see or store.
2. How we use it
To identify which failed payments are worth chasing, to email affected customers asking them to update their payment method, and to show you a live dashboard of what's happening with each one.
We do not use your data for anything beyond running the recovery service itself. No advertising, no reselling, no training external models on your customers' information.
3. Who we share it with
Nobody, except the infrastructure providers required to run the service, acting strictly as data processors on our behalf:
Stripe: processes all payment data and card updates; we never see full card numbers.
Resend: delivers the recovery, sign-in, and digest emails on our behalf.
Supabase: hosts our database.
None of these providers use your data for their own purposes; they process it only to perform the service we've asked them to.
4. How long we keep it
While your account is active, we keep scan and recovery data so your dashboard stays accurate. If you cancel, we retain billing and TOS-agreement records for as long as required for financial recordkeeping, and delete customer contact data and scan history within a reasonable period after a deletion request.
5. Requesting deletion
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing the support address on your account, or the address listed on your recovery emails. We'll confirm what's been removed and what (if anything) we're required to retain for legal/financial reasons, and why.
6. Security
Access to your Stripe account is read-only and can be revoked by you at any time from your own Stripe Dashboard. We never store card numbers. Card updates happen entirely inside Stripe's own hosted checkout.
